Cabinet Refacing Across Suffolk County
Rated 4.9 out of 5from 121 customer reviews

New Look Kitchen Refacing serves Suffolk County from Farmingdale, directly on the Nassau–Suffolk line — Huntington, Babylon and Islip are minutes away, and we schedule the East End honestly rather than promising the North Fork a Farmingdale-speed response. In-house crews, most kitchens done in three to five days.
- Made in North America
- Never outsourced
- Installed in 3–5 days
- Reuses your cabinet boxes
- Serving homeowners since 2006
- Free in-home estimates
Happy With the Layout? Then Reface It
Refacing swaps everything visible on your cabinets — doors, drawer fronts, hinges, handles, and veneer across every exposed frame — while the boxes stay put. Nothing moves, so nothing needs re-plumbing or re-wiring, and most kitchens are finished inside a week.
One question settles which you need. If you would move the sink or open up a wall, that is a remodel. If the kitchen works and only looks tired, refacing gets you there for roughly half. Suffolk's larger kitchens push that further in your favour: the more cabinet boxes a kitchen has, the more replacement costs in cabinetry and demolition, while refacing prices track the doors and fronts you actually see.
And when it is wrong for you, we say so at the estimate. Water-damaged boxes or a layout you genuinely want changed are not refacing jobs, and new doors on a failing box is money wasted.

Western Suffolk Is Our Back Yard
The Farmingdale shop sits so close to the county line that half our crews cross into Suffolk before their coffee cools. Huntington, Babylon and Islip townships book on the same calendar as jobs five minutes from the shop — no surcharge, no 'we'll fit you in when we're next out that way'. If you're west of Ronkonkoma, treat us as local, because we are.

The East End, Without the Fine Print
Riverhead, the Hamptons and the North Fork are a genuine drive, and we'd rather say so than bury it. What changes is scheduling, not quality: East End projects are planned as full consecutive days so the crew isn't commuting your budget away, and lead times run a little longer than they do up-island. What doesn't change is who shows up — the same employed installers, never a subcontractor because the job is far from the shop.

Second Homes on a Second Schedule
A lot of East End kitchens belong to houses that empty out after Labor Day — which is the best refacing window there is. We regularly plan fall and winter projects around an owner's absence: keys handled through your property manager, photo updates as the work progresses, and a finished kitchen waiting when the house reopens in spring. If your Suffolk place is a summer place, the off-season is yours to use.

The Greenest Cabinet Is the One You Already Own
A full kitchen tear-out sends the whole thing to the transfer station: boxes, frames, shelves, counters, the lot. A refacing keeps the largest and heaviest part of your kitchen exactly where it is. Your cabinet boxes stay in your kitchen, not in a landfill.
That matters more than it sounds. The boxes are the bulk of the material in a kitchen — the doors and fronts you replace are a fraction of the weight. Less demolition also means fewer truckloads out, less new material in, and no skip sitting in the driveway for a fortnight.
The doors that go on are made in North America rather than shipped across an ocean, and the work happens in one kitchen at a time with the crew cleaning up each evening. None of that is a green certification and we are not going to pretend it is one — it is simply what refacing does by its nature, and it is a real difference from a tear-out.
Three Steps, Wherever You Are in Suffolk
The same three stages whether you are in Huntington or out on the North Fork. What changes further east is the scheduling between them, not the work or who does it.

Refacing Against a Full Remodel
The comparison most Suffolk homeowners are running before they call. Worth noting the spend line holds whether your kitchen is a Babylon galley or a Smithtown custom build — refacing tracks what you see, not the size of the house it sits in.
| Measure | Refacing | Full remodel |
|---|---|---|
| Timeline | 3–5 days | 4–8 weeks |
| Typical spend | $10k–$18k | $25k–$45k |

Asked by Suffolk Homeowners

Refacing replaces the doors, drawer fronts and hardware on your kitchen cabinets and covers every exposed frame with a matching veneer, while the cabinet boxes stay in place. The kitchen keeps its existing layout and plumbing. Most kitchens are finished in three to five days, for roughly half the cost of a full remodel.
